Q4 2023 Performance of Top Crime Games on Android in Australia

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the crime game genre on Android saw some interesting trends in Australia, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's how the top five crime games fared during this period.

Kwalee Ltd's Airport Security experienced a peak in downloads at 9K in the first week of October, with a subsequent decline to 4.9K by the year's end. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, hitting a high of 12.4K and dropping to 6.7K. Revenue peaked at $70K in early October but fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending at $33K.

Thief Puzzle: to pass a level by TapNation showed a steady increase in downloads from 2.4K to 4.5K. The weekly active users grew from 5.9K to 9.5K, with revenue showing a similar upward trend, reaching $33K in mid-December.

Homa's Agent Hunt - Hitman Shooter saw downloads surge from 1.3K to 4.2K. Active users also increased, starting at 2.7K and reaching 7.4K by the quarter's end. Revenue peaked at $162K in late October, with a slight dip to $129K by the end of December.

Despite being a late entrant, GTA: San Andreas – NETFLIX by Netflix, Inc. made a significant impact with downloads starting at 17.5K and ending at 4.4K. The weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting strong at 17K and closing at 15.8K.

Lastly, Traffic Cop 3D, another title from Kwalee Ltd, showed growth in downloads from 1.7K to 4.2K and in active users from 3.7K to 8K. The game's revenue also saw a steady increase, reaching a high of $62K in mid-December.
